Pype is a construction management software company that uniquely combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision to mitigate risk and ensure contract compliance for large construction projects.
The firm needed to be positioned as an attractive acquisition target and deliver extensive due diligence financial information, all during the COVID pandemic.
We provided Pype with HR and accounting services as integrated and sophisticated as the project management systems it was offering its own clients. To achieve this, we built a custom platform of services, overseeing:
Payroll filings, bonuses, on-/off-boarding, promotions, and all other HR essentials.
Bookkeeping, tax filings (federal, state, and local county, 1099s), daily cash management, and bill payment, supplemented with regular meetings to give leadership a full understanding of the firm’s current and forecast financial position.
Working closely with management, we helped obtain a PPP (Payroll Protection Program) Loan, as well as establish and run a deferred revenue and revenue recognition software program.
With its now-solid operations in HR, accounting, and forward-looking financing, Pype was acquired by Autodesk in the summer of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. We played an active role in the due diligence process, handled both remotely and seamlessly.
